Two people have been taken to hospital with “significant injuries” following a crash on a main road, police have said.
Officers were called to the crash which involved two vehicles on the A390 near Chiverton Cross, towards Truro, at about 13:35 GMT on Tuesday.
The force said a yellow Fiat Panda and a black Nissan Qashqai were involved and the drivers of both vehicles, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s, were injured and remained in hospital.
The road was closed for about four hours, police said, and witnesses have been asked to get in touch.
