Fatboy Slim and Friends in Dorset Camp Bestival takeover

Fatboy Slim is to headline Camp Bestival next summer in an all-day takeover of the festival’s Castle Stage.

The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, will host Fatboy Slim and Friends – a day of non-stop music featuring special guests on the final day of the four-day family festival in Dorset.

The 2026 event, which runs from 30 July to 2 August at Lulworth Castle, will have a seaside theme, with attendees encouraged to dress up.

Cook said: “I’ll be bringing all my seaside friends on 2 August for the Castle Stage takeover. Fatboy Slim with a seagull…”

He added: “I think the genius of Camp Bestival is the multigenerational raving – it’s kind-of for kids but it’s kind-of for adults too. The two seem to co-exist in a very interestingly symbiotic way.”

Festival founder Rob da Bank said: “Every year we run a survey with you, our wonderful audience, and every year there’s one name that tops the list of acts you’d like to see most, and yes, it’s my mate Norm from Brighton, aka Fatboy Slim.”

Camp Bestival, which is curated by Josie and Rob da Bank, will be marking its 18th year.
