A section of the A30 in west Cornwall remains closed after a serious collision involving a police car and two other vehicles.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the emergency services were called to the St Erth Roundabout following the crash at about 20:00 GMT on Sunday.
A number of people are believed to have been injured and treated by the ambulance service.
The road between St Erth Roundabout and the Hayle Bypass remained closed on Monday morning to allow for investigations and recovery.
