Truro City assistant manager Stewart Yetton says Will Dean deserved to be sent off in his side’s 0-0 draw with Tamworth.
The defender was shown a red card seven minutes from full-time after appearing to elbow Tamworth’s Stefan Mols in their national league encounter.
The draw – which marked a third game unbeaten for the Tinners – kept them second from bottom of the table.
“It’s a red card, we’ll deal with that,” Yetton told BBC Radio Cornwall.
“It’s not acceptable really so it’s disappointing and then it obviously puts us under pressure in the last 10 minutes and the boys did magnificently at end to see that out.”
The draw was a third consecutive home game unbeaten for Truro, having beaten Yeovil Town and Wealdstone in their previous two games at the Truro Community Stadium.
“It was a good opportunity we felt before the game,” added Yetton.
“But I think the way the game panned out, I think the point was probably a fair result, especially with the red card.
“An opportunity possibly missed, but probably fair on balance on the way the game was played.”
