Skies across the south of England have been filled with hues of green, pink and red by the Northern Lights.
The vivid lights, or Aurora Borealis, appeared as bright, flowing areas of lights on Monday night.
The displays are caused by charged particles from the Sun colliding with gases in the Earth’s atmosphere around the magnetic poles.
The lights were spotted the length and breadth of the region, with many weather watchers out in force to snap the beautiful display.
