Warnock will lead fourth-placed Torquay at fifth-placed Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday as the Gulls look to end a six-game run without a win that has seen them slip from three points clear at the top of National League South to nine points off the lead.
Torquay then host Salisbury next Tuesday before Chesham United visit Plainmoor the following Saturday.
“It’s a great club. It’s a fabulous club. It’s a great opportunity for somebody to come in, but it won’t be straightforward as everybody’s finding out now,” Warnock added.
“They will be asking me if I have any opinions.
“I think they’re going to try and get down to a shortlist of five, I think they’ve been inundated with applicants.
“If they get down to a shortlist of five, I’m sure then they’ll have a word with me about can I make some inquiries about these five candidates.”
