The team behind a festive lights display said they hoped to give “enjoyment” to visitors of a Cornish village.
Organisers of the Angarrack Christmas Lights said preparations for the displays near Hayle began in September with more than 75 frames, including seven reindeers, on show.
The displays, which depict the 12 days of Christmas, are set to remain in place until early January with the lights switched on between 17:00 and 22:00 GMT each day.
Nikki Vincent, chairperson of Angarrack Christmas Lights, praised the effort of organisers and volunteers who put the displays together, which she said were viewed by thousands of people every year.
The lights were first set up in 1986 and visitors can take part in a quiz based on the displays.
“We do it for is for everyone’s enjoyment when they come and see them,” Ms Vincent added.
“It’s September when the lights are repaired and looked at some its quite a long time to get them together.”
