A man in his 70s has died in hospital three days after being hit by a bus.
The pedestrian was struck on Somerford Road in Christchurch shortly before 08:45 GMT last Wednesday.
Dorset Police said he died in hospital on Saturday morning and his family were being supported by specially trained officers.
A 36-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has since been released pending further inquiries. The force said officers were continuing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
