Rescued ducks take first pond dip in their new home in Cornwall

Ten ducks that were part of a group of 16 that needed to be rehomed have taken their first dips in a pond at their new home.

The RSPCA Cornwall said it wanted to find safe, suitable homes where the ducks could “live the life they deserved”.

Katherine Berriman, of Falbrook House Farm in Cornwall, said they had taken in 10 of the ducks and the “exciting addition to our farm” all seemed very happy.

She said: “They each have their own, individual little personalities and are integrating well with our own ducks and geese. They seem really happy and have literally taken to their new home like ducks to water.”
