A teenage motorcyclist who died in a collision with a lorry “had his whole future ahead of him”, his family has said.
Zebedee Watson, from north Dorset, died at the scene following the crash involving a DAF truck at the Safety Drive roundabout in Poole on 28 November.
In a statement issued through Dorset Police, his family said his “warmth, kindness, and spirit” touched everyone.
Dorset Police has appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
In the statement, Zebedee’s family said he had “a promising future”, had recently passed his driving test first time and was looking forward to his upcoming 18th birthday.
He had previously attended King Arthur’s Secondary School in Wincanton.
“Zeb was thriving at college on a plumbing course and was working hard to secure an apprenticeship in the field he loved.
“Zeb leaves behind a heartbroken younger sister, aged 15, and a treasured little brother, aged 3, who adored him. He cared for them deeply and was proudly the ‘man of the house’.
“He will always be a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and a wonderful friend to so many. His warmth, kindness, and spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.”
Earlier this week Dorset Police said it believed the drivers of a black BMW 1 series, a white Vauxhall Astra, a black Suzuki Swift and a white Ford Transit van heading west on the bypass, may have witnessed the collision and urged them to get in touch.
