Exeter have agreed a deal to sign Bath centre Will Butt on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old will move to Sandy Park in the summer after spending his entire career with Bath.
Butt, who came up through their academy, has played 46 times since making his senior debut in October 2019.
He started both Bath’s European Challenge Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup final wins last season.
Butt’s switch comes after Will Rigg agreed a move from Exeter to Newcastle in the summer.
“He’s a big, physical guy,” Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter told BBC Sport of his new signing.
“I think he’s played a lot of rugby in a good side, he understands how Bath play and understands the tactical side of what they need from him.
“He’s had some very, very good games in a very, very competitive squad.
“We feel he’s got that kind of right combination of size and strength and skill base that we think will improve us.”
